Snout in elevated position: Haggis in alert mode. smelling for predators with his highly sensitive proboscis whilst lifting his belly away from the floor ready for running away. Eyes wide open and ears pricked-up.
Snout in lowered position: Haggis in relaxation mode. Happy and content with his big belly nicely resting on the ground. Eyes slightly closed and looking down for heather with nose sniffing for onions or other aromatic vegetation.
